Ruptured Ear Drum
Last Wednesday night we woke up to Reagan crying out at midnight. Immediately we both knew that it was a different cry and that something was bothering her. Since she has been teething we didn't think anything of it and assumed that a tooth was coming in. We gave her her teething tablets and fed her a bottle hopping she would return to sleep. When Adam laid her back down she started to cry again. I got up with her and just rocked with her. Eventually she fell back asleep around 3 AM. When she woke up the next morning I noticed right away that her right ear had all kinds of drainage coming out of it. I called the doctor right away. We saw her doctor later that morning and without even looking at the inside of her ear he said that her eardrum ruptured last night...which explained all the crying. So somewhere along the line she had an ear infection and we didn't know it! No temp, no tugging at the ear, not fussy or anything!! Ten days of antibiotics and she should be good as new! I felt like the worst mother!! Poor thing!!

Popsicle
Reagan has been getting some new teeth for what seems like forever now. She has been a pretty good trooper during the day but night time has been a different story. She went about two weeks waking up every two to three hours screaming. More than anything she just wanted to be held. I relived some memories of sleeping in the recliner with her a couple of nights. A parent of mine at school suggested I use these freezer pops that are 99% fruit juice and brought some in for me to try. We gave her on on Saturday when she was a little uncomfortable. She didn't know what to think at first but then couldn't get enough!
We hope to see some relief this week, we had one of her "I" teeth come through yesterday.

Getting ready to cheer on the Panthers!
As I posted earlier we were planning on going to the game on Friday. Reagan was going to stay at grandma and grandpa Bricker's. I got a sub for the day but the tickets fell through. We did some research and tried to find something reasonable but just couldn't justify spending $700-$800 for two tickets. I still had the day off and Reagan and I picked Adam up at noon and we spent the afternoon hanging out. You can't imagine the sea of purple around town. I went to Kohl's with Reagan and all the employees along with the shoppers were showing their panther pride by wearing purple.

Where has the time gone???
I have to admit that I have been a slacker at updating my blog once again!! Like the last time, it isn't that we haven't had events going on in our lives that aren't blog worthy! I will blame part of it on this pregnancy. I have just been so gosh darn tired that I usually go to bed about an hour or two after Reagan does...which doesn't leave me much time to do anything other than eat and do a little relaxing! Speaking of eating, I have finally regained an appetite! It has only taken 19 weeks! I am also starting to regain some energy so hopefully we are on the uphill slope for a little while. I am 20 weeks this week so we have made it half way through the pregnancy! I have my big appointment next week. We will have an ultra sound again. I will be sure to post some pictures!
Have a great weekend everyone and cheer loud for those PANTHERS!!! We were hoping to go to the game but UNI only got 1,600 tickets. We did a little research but just couldn't justify spending $700 on two tickets for decent seats. I guess we will have to cheer extra loud so they can hear us from home!
Be sure to check out the posts below!!

SURPRISE!!!
Both of my parents celebrated their 60Th birthdays this month. My dad's was on March 15 and my mom's on March 20. I wanted to do something special and memorable for them because they deserve the world. As I was setting things up I also had a surprise of my own. My mom was teaming up with one of her good church friends who was turning 50 a week after her and they were going to throw a small party with just their church friends. They decided they were going to throw themselves their own little party so nobody could surprise them! HA I had them beat! I just couldn't wait for the day to come to see their faces and to let the secret was out of the bag!
It was a lot of fun and boy were they surprised! They thought we were just going out to dinner as a family and then heading to church!!
