Catching Up
Well I am back from my little vacation from blogging. I can't believe that it is the end of September! Where did the month go? I have to admit life is a little bit more hectic with having two under the age of two in the house. Don't get me wrong we are loving every minute but nights are busy and weekends just fly by! I have made several updates showing what we were up to this last month. I hope to do better come October!

Helping Mama
Reagan has been a big help around the house lately. She is understanding so much more and loves helping out. If we ask her to get us something for Avery she quickly does it and then has to give everyone around a high-five.
When doing laundry last week she was helping by putting the clothes into the basket. When I quick ran to get another load she had all the clean clothes from one basket back in the washer. When it came time to fold all those clothes she handed each piece for me to fold. She thought it was so much fun and I was happy that it entertained her for a half hour!

Trip to MN
Each September we head up north to see Adam's family. We usually plan the trip around the PANCan bike ride in memory of his dad that passed away three years ago from Pancreatic Cancer. We didn't ride this year but still enjoyed the time with family. Reagan loved playing with all of her cousins and Avery enjoyed being held! Adam and I were happy that it was a successful trip and first time traveling with both girls!

It was great to see everyone and I think we can all agree we need to see each other more often! Thanks for a great weekend!

One Month Old
It is hard to believe that Avery has been a part of our family for one month already. She has added so much joy to our family even though all she does at this point is eat, sleep and poop! We have all adjusted to having a new little one and couldn't be happier!
Here are some pictures of her at a month old.

Kite Flying
At a recent trip to Toys R Us Adam picked up a kite. This is something Adam has talked about doing with Reagan all summer long and here it is fall. She thought it was pretty neat up in the sky but didn't like when it fell to the ground. It soared pretty high for a cheap two dollar kite!

It wasn't all fun and games when she saw how dirty her feet were after running in the field!

Labor Day Weekend
Labor Day Weekend was a busy one but very relaxing. We spent a lot of time visiting with good friends.
We had Brook and Andy over with their daughter Laikyn who is just a month younger than Reagan. The girls get along great and have a ton of fun together. They entertain each other well while us adults enjoy some adult time as well.
Here are a few pictures of the girls playing in the bouncy house. They were giggling and following each other around. It was so cute!

We also had a visit from Lisa and Curt who live in Chicago. They got to meet Avery and Reagan enjoyed having Lisa read her a few books and play catch with her. It is always good to see them, we just wished they lived closer!!

We ended the weekend with some play time at the park. I know I've said it before but Reagan loves being outside!! We can't even say the word without her getting excited. The acorns were starting to fall, so this was a new discovery for her. She had a ton of fun picking them up and putting them in a bucket. She also thought it was pretty cool to let them loose down the slide.
